Marta Heshelman , NP, is God sent to help patients in Monroe county. She is an awesome professional with extensive knowledge, If she doesn’t know she is not afraid to say so and research it. She is an excellent practitioner helping many people, effectively, because she listens and cares. This attitude of caring permeates throughout the staff as well. . I highly recommend Marta, being one of her many happy patients and a retired healthcare administrator.

An outstanding staff from the front desk to the doctor. I am new and everyone was so kind and understanding. I had many questions and he listened and answered everyone. I had torn rotator cuff surgery yesterday and needed assistance with the brace placement. Both the nurse and doctor helped me and we were on our way home before we new it. Thanks for You're great care.

Highly recommend. Was out in less than 2 hours. Dr Seall was very informative and thorough. From front desk staff, nursing staff, x-ray techs, etc., bedside manner was incredible. My nurse/PA was phenomenal as well as the doctor. Both were incredibly empathetic, took time to actively listen, and explained the treatment plan well. Walked out with my prescriptions and confidence in the care and treatment received. Will be going here for any future incidents.

Today was my second visit to this office a.d Dr. Ruche. The office is nice and very clean. The staff are all very kind and considerate. Dr. Ruche I can tell you is very through. I think they must have done at least ten or more blood test last time. I left feeling the same as I did last appointment. I really like Dr Ruche. Dr. Ruched is a very kind and wonderful man. He is very considerate of the patients feelings. He is not going to force you into taking any medicine you do not want to take. This was first visit. I definitely felt very confident and comfortable talking to him. I Totally trust him.

Theresa Woodard NP has always been great. She takes the time to listen to you and goes over all options with you and doesn't rush you in and out like some other practitioners do. She treats you like a human being and she truly cares about others. I was seeing Dr. Schmalz but when she started working with him I started seeing her because I liked the idea of a female it just made me more comfortable. I have not regretted the switch and I am so thankful for her. Holly the receptionist is a joy to see and is the sweetest too. Everytime I walk in for an appointment Holly is there with a smile on her face greeting you. I don't know all of the nurses by name but they are all fantastic and so sweet, Lorraine is one that I have known for years and I love her! She is a joy to talk to and has a great sense of humor ❤️. I haven't seen her the last couple of visits though. I hope she didn't retire yet 😪

Dr. Rusche is a very kind person who took the time to talk to me as a person. He was very thorough and had a lot of information for me about what I'm experiencing. He's highly intelligent yet down to earth and non judgmental. I'm so happy I choose this doctor. It was worth the wait without a doubt.

My dad was recently in the ER at Monroe hospital. Staff was very tentative to him, they explained each and every procedure, we were checked on frequently during our ER visit by not only the staff such as the tech, nurse, and the MD. While MD was at bedside assessing my father, he asked me several times if I needed anything. While I was staying with my dad. The bedside Manor for everyone was absolutely outstanding. I've worked in healthcare for 27 years and the bedside manner and respect and updates that we received during this stay. I thought had went to the wayside. I would definitely return to Monroe hospital for any further needs for any medical situations. We did not have a long wait in the waiting room and we were immediately taken back to be cared for. Even when we had to wait on CT scan for like maybe 20 minutes, the tech even came in and explained. Hey, we're getting ready to take him to CT but it's going to be just a few more minutes. So there was no 1 to 2 hours of waiting in the room not having any updates.

Dr Rusche is very thorough and personable. I had a lot of questions and he answered every one of them in detail. I felt seen and heard and very comfortable with him. I trust his judgment. I'd recommend him to anyone. It took some time to get my initial appointment with him but once scheduled I asked to be on a waitlist for cancellations and was able to get in to see him within a few months. The desk staff is great as well. They are efficient and friendly.

Recently had some health issues and had both a positive outcome and great experience with Monroe Hospital. Absolutely outstanding experience from both the ER and hospital staff during my stay. Dr. Singh and Dr Palanca were exceptional caregivers. The nurses were outstanding and always there to make you feel better. I would highly recommend Monroe Hospital for your health related needs in Bloomington.

While I have not experienced the Monroe Hospital, I have plenty of great experiences next door while seeing my RA provider Dr. William Rusche. I have been patient of his since way back over off 2nd st office up to today and the future! Dr. Rusche is top notch in patient care and listening the each concern to get the whole picture prior to creating the plan. That's not often found in my experience. I have seen many other rheumatologist in Southern Indiana and still love working with Dr. Rusche. He takes his time and ask my permission to touch and checkout my body, very respectful. His office staff is amazing too and so helpful while navigating insurance and PAs and working with the medication manufacturer for assistance. 5 Stars, definitely recommended!
